WHO? All members of Scout section, youth and leaders, in Whitehorse District. WHY? To enjoy a 2 day weekend camp with lots of others from our district’s troops.Learn new skills, meet new and catch up with old friends & get to know some more about our multi-cultural world. WHAT? A weekend of tasks, based around 4 nations of the world which are very diverse from our own. There will be 4 troop areas, each with home troops together and themed toward a nation. All scouts will be involved in activities from the 4 nations, aimed at learning about how life is there; a cultural activity, Scouting there (including games), foods. Scouts will cook in the nation troops, with a multi-cultural feast on Saturday night. A range of badgework (cultural based / citizenship, campcraft) will be available to be worked towards over the weekend. COST? $55 (incl. all food, activities, camp fee, badge & a donation to a charity organisation which supports developing nations of the world, eg: TEAR http://www.tear.org.au). WHERE?
