What is a BioBlitz? A BioBlitz is an event in which we record and collect data of the animals and plants that live in our local area. The Whitehorse District BioBlitz is a citizen science project and can be put towards some badge work. Scouts will work in groups and be assigned a specific area of Blackburn Lake Sanctuary. There will be a series of fun activities that Scouts of all ages will enjoy. When: 1pm Saturday 8 October to 1pm Sunday 9 October 2016 Where: Blackburn Lake Sanctuary and 1/8 Blackburn Hall (12-16 Lake Road, Blackburn) Who: Scouts and Venturers - overnight tent camping at 1/8 Blackburn Scout Hall Cost: $5 for Scouts and Venturers Catering: BYO Saturday afternoon snack and dilly bag.
