Hall Hire

We have a large hall with an open fireplace and ducted heating plus connected kitchen and toilets. The hall is approximately 16.5m x 7.9m. The hall is full of Scouting memorabilia and this may restrict our ability to hire out the hall for particular activities.

COVID-19 Restrictions
There are no restrictions on the number of people that may use that hall unless food or drink is being served in which case the maximum number of people is of 64. All people aged 8 or over must wear a mask. All people 18 or over must be fully vaccinated. The hirer must appoint a COVID Check-in Marshal who must ensure that all people attending the event comply with the mask and vaccination rules and use the hall QR code or maintain a list of attendees.

Acceptable Uses
Family celebrations, sporting club events, special interest groups, small business functions, school events, and charity fund-raising events. Other uses may be subject to approval by the City of Whitehorse.
NB: We do NOT hire our hall for birthday parties for 13-21 year olds as per Scout Victoria policy and our City of Whitehorse lease.
