Mission
The Mission of Scouting is to contribute to the education of young people, through a value-based system based on the Scout Promise & Law, to help build a better world where people are self-fulfilled as individuals and play a constructive role in society.
Purpose
The Purpose of the Scout Movement is to contribute to the education of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual potentials as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

Scouting is about fostering personal growth in the following areas:
![]() We follow a process called Plan>Do>Review> to make sure the program stays up to date and that individuals learn and develop.
![]() The Scout program aims to be adventurous, fun, challenging, and inclusive so that members of all ages can engage with a program that stimulates their development and maintains their interest.
One Program | One Journey
Scouting is one consistent journey. This journey is represented through the symbolic framework of our age sections. Each stage of the journey, represented by an age section, presents new challenges, experiences and perspectives of the world around us.
![]() Scout Method The Scout Method has eight elements that support the development of young people. The Scout Method is unique to Scouting and Scouting is unique because of this Method, and the way in which it educates and develops young people.
