Sometimes we require adults in addition to the Leaders to help with the running of our programs.
To take part in our regular weekly programs you simply need to have a current Working With Children Check (WWCC) card. For both new applications and renewals of your Working With Children Card, go to the WWCC website. For details on how to complete the WWCC application see the Scouts Victoria FAQ.
To take part in overnight and/or weekend activities, in addition to having the WWCC you need to be registered with Scouts Victoria. This process is organised via the Group Leader. Once you are registered you will also need to complete two brief online learning modules:
Child Safe Scouting
WHS for Scouting.
Adult Supporters can only be involved in youth member activities in the presence of a Leader.
